How to use the site

Site Organization

The Art and Cuisine site is organized to help our users find the recipe that they need FAST. The user interface is, we think, intuitive giving you several ways to find exactly what you are looking for. Some examples:

Using the Standard Menu

The Main, or Standard Menu is on top of the left hand column. It is broken down into the principal categories, such as Appetizers, Main Dishes etc. Clicking on any of these topics, or a sub-topic within a main topic, will bring you to a page with a selection of the recipes in that topic. Clicking on the recipe title will display the details of the recipe.

Using the Special Selections buttons

The Special Selections buttons (They are displayed below the Standard Menu in the left column) will display a list of the recipes which we feel meet the criteria of the Selection (Low Calorie, Quick and One Dish meals). Here you will find a listing of all of the recipes that meet that particular selection criteria.

Using Search

The Search button, on the top, right hand part of the page, allows you to enter any search criteria that you desire. This could be A recipe Title or description, or maybe just a list of the ingredients you feel like including in whatever it is you want to prepare.

Using the Site Map

Clicking on the Site Map index tab (On the top of the page) will display a full listing of all of the recipes on the site. You can browse through and look at the ones you are interested in.
